- Very difficult to read and understand. The author should have used spell check too. There wasn’t
significant data to support his claim.

- Autism, and food allergies. The author mentioned that with
selecting the proper diet, autism may be avoided.
- Brief Summary:
- The author wanted to bring out the awareness to the public,
that autism may be treated if the proper diet was administered.
- Identify and attempt to explain three (3) terms,
procedures or concepts that were unfamiliar to you when reviewing this article.
1). It was interesting to learn that casein/free and gluten/free diet could
be a cure for autism, and milk and wheat (whey) may be the biggest culprit to autism.
2). It was interesting to learn that the non-profit organization in this research
is the Southwest Autism Research
Center.
3). A test can be performed to tell about allergies of certain foods that
may cause hyperactivity and/or autism. The test is called the Sage Test.
- Detail the strengths/weaknesses of this article.
The strength is that the author showed concern for the correlation between
autism and food allergies. The weakness is he went about it the wrong way. He was too wordy and should have used spell check a time or two. He should have spoken on a simpler form, so the general public could understand. (Layman terms).
- How might this article be useful to you in your further
studies and career?
I will be more aware
of autism and overall…how food can work along with the human body.
